Visit the photo art show hosted by the Friends of Fire Island National Seashore.
Dr. Dave is president of the Friends of Fire Island National Seashore (FFINS). This is a conservation organization that works with the Fire Island National Seashore (part of our National Park system) to improve the park and to act as a public voice. As such Dr. Dave is very involved with the seashore. Right now FFINS is sponsoring a photo art show at the Watch Hill Ferry terminal site off of West Avenue. The photos were taken by members of the Nature and Wildlife Photographers of Long Island (NWPLI) and they are amazing. The exhibit is open weekends from 12 PM to 5PM until June 26 and also on Memorial day (provided I can get coverage).
To support this effort, the Paumanok Veterinary Hospital will give a credit equal to 30% of the purchase price of any photo bought at the show. For example, if you purchase a framed photo for $100 you will get $30 credit for future veterinary work done or product purchased at our hospital. This credit must be used by December 31, 2011.
