Comprehensive Diagnostic Care for Your Pet’s Health

Diagnostic care is essential when your pet isn’t feeling well, as it helps us identify the underlying issue. This process is crucial because it enables us to provide the correct treatment, ensuring your pet recovers quickly and effectively.

In-House Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory enables us to analyze samples within just 20 minutes, which is especially beneficial in critical cases where time is of the essence. This quick turnaround allows us to begin treatment and recovery sooner. We offer a wide range of testing, including CBC, chemistry panels, heartworm testing, tick disease screening, pancreatitis tests, FeLV/FIV screening, and skin/ear cytology.

Digital X-Ray

Radiology, or x-rays, is a safe, pain-free, and non-invasive service we offer to help diagnose your pet’s health concerns. Using digital radiography, we minimize radiation exposure, ensuring the process is harmless. X-ray technology is commonly used in veterinary care for its speed, image clarity, and cost-effectiveness.
Radiology services are used to diagnose:
  • Kidney Disease
  • Heart Disease
  • Liver Disease
  • Intestinal Blockages
  • Bladder Stones
  • Broken Bones
  • Chronic Arthritis
  • Spinal Cord Disease
  • Cancer
  • Various other conditions

Ultrasound

We use ultrasound technology for its effective imaging capabilities, which assist in examining various parts of the body. It allows us to assess illnesses and injuries by providing detailed views of areas such as tendons, muscles, joints, and internal organs.

Electrocardiogram

Electrocardiography (EKG/ECG) is a tool used to monitor your pet’s heart rhythms and electrical impulses. It’s often used alongside digital radiology and ultrasound to diagnose heart-related issues that may cause symptoms like coughing, labored breathing, lethargy, and weakness. This non-invasive procedure requires no anesthesia - your pet simply lies on their side, and electrodes are placed on specific areas of the body. Results are available within minutes, and we’ll review them with you right away.

Pain Management

Our priority is to minimize or eliminate pain and discomfort in our patients, as pain can impact both physical and mental well-being. We actively manage pain before, during, and after all procedures. Educating our clients is crucial to us, as we strive to empower pet owners to make informed decisions about their pet’s healthcare. Many pet owners may not realize their pet is in pain due to communication barriers, so we work to educate them on the subtle signs of pain that may go unnoticed, ensuring their pets receive the care they need.
